Tempe Studio C

The Conservatory’s C Room at Tempe shares its studio proper with the B Room. The console, a Neve VR-48 (from the company started by the legendary Rupert Neve-a frequent Conservatory guest lecturer,) sports Flying Faders automation and Total Recall. It originally came from Streeterville Studio in
Chicago, and was used during its tenure there to track and mix hit records for the Smashing Pumpkins, Collective Soul, Filter, the Fugees, and Janet Jackson, among others. The C Room is a dual-purpose room, used for both music tracking and mixing, and also post-production for film and television. The Neve is particularly popular with the students for mixing music projects.
